Public Relations Chair
We’re excited to announce a position on our state committee has opened in public relations (PR). Our PR chair is responsible for creating graphics for our events, and posting on our social media pages. Ideally, the PR chair would have a close working relationship with our events chair and our state chair, in order to stay abreast of the upcoming events and anticipate and create graphics for advertising. The PR chair is a voting member of the state central committee, which plans and executes our events.
Assistant Secretary
The Iowa Young Republican assistant secretary is responsible for assisting the elected secretary in their regular duties, such as taking minutes, website editing, written communication, event planning, etc. This individual willl also serve as proxy in the case of an absence by the secretary unless otherwise noted. The assistant officer shall not otherwise have voting power on the State Central Committee.
Assistant Treasurer
The Iowa Young Republican assistant treasurer is responsible for assisting the elected secretary in their regular duties, such as keeping records with itemized receipts and expenditures, preparing statements of financial condition, auditing records, etc. This individual willl also serve as proxy in the case of an absence by the treasurer unless otherwise noted. The assistant officer shall not otherwise have voting power on the State Central Committee.
